A 10-day-old premature neonate with a previously normal head sonogram, now with episodes of apnea, bradycardia, seizures. Patient's twin sibling was lethargic and covered in rash at the time of delivery.
A 35-year-old woman with bilateral foot drop and recurrent upper extremity paresthesias.
A 1-year-old boy with enlarging head circumference and developmental delay.
A 37-year-old woman with fever, drowsiness, tremulousness, and quadriparesis.
A 51-year-old man with chronic alcoholism, admitted with weakness and blurred vision. Subsequent to admission, the patient rapidly deteriorated, developed metabolic acidosis, and went into a coma.
