T2-weighted (left) and FLAIR (right) MR images of a left fronto-insular glioma show that much of the tumor has substantially lower signal on FLAIR (asterisk) than on T2-weighted imaging, consistent with the T2-FLAIR mismatch sign, which is characteristic of astrocytoma, IDHmut. This tumor had a single-arm 19q deletion.

This unenhanced CT image demonstrates calcifications in an oligodendroglioma (IDHmut and 1p/19qcodel) involving the left insula.

Kaplan-Meier survival curves of all 3 groups of tumors, demonstrating that the unideleted tumors in the cohort had survival that was significantly shorter than that of 1p/19qcodel tumors (P = .013), but similar to that in tumors without 1p or 19q deletion (P = .72).
