- Distinguishing Intracranial Solitary Fibrous Tumors from Meningiomas: The Diagnostic Value of T1-Weighted MRI Signal Intensity and ADC Values
The authors compared ADC and conventional MRI features (eg, precontrast T1 signal intensity) of intracranial SFTs and meningiomas. T1-weighted hyperintensity compared with the cortex was significantly more frequent in SFTs compared with meningiomas. Both normalized T1-weighted imaging and ADC values were higher in SFTs. A significant inverse correlation between T1-weighted and ADC values was observed only in SFTs.
- Cognitive Control Network and Language Reorganization in Patients with Brain Tumors
The authors investigated the participation of cognitive control network (CCN) in tumor-induced language reorganization. The results showed that the CCN is involved in language reorganization and is associated with improved speech after surgery.
